MAT Attendance Kiosk – Privacy Notice

The MAT Attendance kiosk is provided via Google Play and also Apple's App Store, free of charge to customers of the MAT system. This app is used by our customers to provide a simple way for their members to register their arrival and optionally departure when attending classes.

When using the application a member will enter their ID, barcode or name to identity themselves. This information is sent over a secure channel to our servers to be checked. Our servers will respond over a secure channel with any matching members, the information returned to the application includes:

• Member ID
• Member Reference
• First name & last name
• Postcode
• Last attendance
• A thumbnail image

None of the above information is retained or stored on the device.

The application optionally allows a member to update their thumbnail image. This feature will use the camera function of the device to capture an image. If submitted by the member this image is transferred over a secure connection to our servers. No images are retained or stored on the device nor added to the photo gallery or camera roll.
